Q: How do I know if I have pests?

The following signs should warn you of a pest problem;

  • Odd smells and sounds – bedbugs give off a sweet, musty odor, rats smell like ammonia and roaches have an olly odor. A scurrying, squeaky, gnawing or scratching sound under the floor board or on the ceiling also indicate a pest problem.
  • Ant and termite hills outdoors

Q: How often do I need pest control?

The frequency of pest control depends on the location and extent of the infestation. Certain areas of Melbourne are prone to pest infestations more than others. Yes. Pesticides for households pests are designed to be applied at low concentrations (less than 1%). This is high enough to kill pests but pose no threat to your pets.

This s a structural examination of a property to determine whether there is a pest problem. If there is, pest control measures are recommended. It’s often done prior to the property being sold/ bought.
